Hi, I'm Sharon!
Photography shaped by people, purpose and a good plan.
Before I became a photographer, I spent almost 20 years working in education, including as an English as an Additional Language (EAL) teacher.
That experience didn’t disappear when I changed careers. It shaped the way I work now: I plan carefully, notice the small things, read the room and build trust before asking anyone to step in front of a camera.
Today, I photograph values-led businesses, schools and community organisations across Geelong, and Australia wide, who care about the work they do and want their images to reflect it.
I believe photography should be more than beautiful. It should help people understand your story, feel connected to it and know what to do next.

My background in education taught me that people do their best when they feel prepared, respected and at ease. I bring that same care to every shoot: we make a clear plan, work collaboratively, and create images that have a real purpose beyond looking good.
PURPOSE
I begin with what your images need to do: helping families understand your school or helping the right clients connect with your business.
CLARITY
You don’t need to perform for the camera. I’ll guide you gently and create space for natural moments to happen.
CONNECTION
I take time to build trust before the camera comes out, so the people in front of it feel comfortable, and it shows in the photos.
